About
Hello! I am a Biostatistics PhD candidate in the collaborative program between the Department of Statistics and Data Science at Southern Methodist University and University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas (UTSW). Prior to my studies at SMU, I completed an M.S in Mathematics at University of North Texas, worked as an Analyst at Gamesys Group in London, UK, and earned my B.Sc. in Mathematics, with a minor in Computer Science, from Alderson Broaddus University in West Virginia–where I was a student-athlete for and captained the men’s soccer team.
Research
My current research focuses on developing statistical methods to address left-censored data in crossover designs and on predicting the 10-year risk of cardiovascular events among women in the Veterans Affairs (VA) healthcare system. I am also interested in methods for handling complex data structures in recurrent events studies.
